Cheers to the County Pinot

Earlier this month Zoltan Szabo gave high ratings to the Norman Hardie 2009 Pinto Noir.

The County Pinot Noir ‘Unfiltered’ – A fabulous Pinot, bright, red berry – floral – spicy bouquet with such delicate texture and velvet – supple tannin composition. Light to medium weight, pure and fresh with a great length; black raspberry – licorice root – limestone nuances surface on its minute – long finish. This Pinot Noir spent 11 months in 40% new 225 L Mercurey barrels. Hardie’s best yet County Pinot, period.”

Watch for the Norman Hardie spring release of Riesling, Melon and Pinot Gris.
