The Toronto Four Seasons Hotel is now offering its new collection of custom-blended seasonal teas, made by T, exclusively for the hotel’ s afternoon tea service, gift packages, and a bubbly champagne-blend cocktail. Inspired by the seasons, Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall blends are available daily at Avenue, the Lobby Bar, and for purchase in the Gift Shop.
T, based in Vancouver, is one of only a few custom tea blenders in the world, and blends the highest grade tea leaves, fruits, herbs, and spices.
The inaugural blend, Winter, is an elegant combination of Indian Darjeeling and China Keemun, with floral points of jasmine and golden calendula petals.
A new afternoon tea menu by Executive Chef Thomas Bellec features sweet and savoury treats, while Executive Pastry Chef Philippe Valladares has created the “Four Seasons Tea Chocolate Tarte,” made with tea-infused chocolate ganache.
At Avenue, something a little stronger: “The Fashionably Kate” – a mixture of Four Seasons Winter Blend iced tea, champagne, candied ginger, lemon twist, and a sugar ‘diamond’ rim – is a sparkling cocktail fit for a princess!
Afternoon tea service is served daily at Four Seasons Hotel Toronto: Friday through Sunday from 1 – 5 PM in Lobby Bar and Monday through Thursday from 2:30 – 5 PM in Avenue.
